CASEY DESMITH: SHOOTOUT RECORD

Casey DeSmith stopped 12 of the 21 shootout attempts he faced from 2023-24 to 2025-26, 57.1%. Across the league, goalies stopped 68.3% of all 1,940. Shrunk toward the league, his save rate is 62.6%, 45th of the 54 goalies who faced 15 or more.

SHRUNK is his saves plus 20 attempts at the league's 68.3% save rate, over the attempts he faced plus 20: a short record stays near the league, a long one speaks for itself.

SEASONS he faced one: 2023-24, 2024-25, 2025-26; he faced the newest in the Dallas Stars' net.

IN THE DUEL

In the duel a shot on him starts from the shooter's rate times 1.18, his factor (a goalie at the league's rate is 1.00); the move and the read move it from there.
