As the NHL's feed records the shot. It has no deke; OTHER is any other shot type, or an attempt that never got a shot off.

SEASONS with an attempt: 2023-24, 2024-25, 2025-26; his newest attempt was for the Pittsburgh Penguins.

RATING ISN'T THE RECORD

A skater's rating in the game doesn't predict his shootout rate: across the 325 shooters the game rates, the two correlate at 0.007, next to nothing, over these three seasons.

IN THE DUEL

In the duel his shots start from this rate, times the goalie's factor; the move and the goalie's read move it from there.

PLAY THE SHOOTOUT

The duel sends each side's best shooters by this rate first, and in none of its 2025-26 games is he one of the two his team would send at you.
